Space for Mindfulness

This module explores the benefits of mindfulness, providing you with several audio recordings and tips on how to be more mindful in your everyday life.

Developing a more mindful attitude means intentionally paying attention to your present moment and experience, with curiosity and acceptance.

Through regular practice of mindfulness you can achieve:

  • A healthier stance towards challenging thoughts and emotions: You can learn to notice your thoughts and feelings, without the need to categorise, evaluate or judge them.
  • Relaxation: Through mindfulness, you can become better at tolerating uncomfortable experiences, choosing whether to react or allow them to simply be and pass by.
  • A better understanding of yourself: Learn how to observe your thoughts, sensations and emotions, while understanding that you are separate from whatever you are experiencing.
  • A healthier body: Mindfulness can reduce pain and boost your immune system.

By practicing mindfulness every day, you strengthen your mind’s ability to be more aware and awake. Like most new things, the more you practice, the better you get.
